Reigning Super FKS Champion Ross Martin, who receives a fully funded year in Single Seaters as his prize for winning the Formula One Management backed Championship, joined leading single seater team Fortec Motorsport in Valencia for two days MSA Formula testing.
Martin immediately impressed the Fortec Motorsport team by toping the time sheets in the morning session before going on to repeat this for Session Two. As the day progressed, Martin’s talent continued to shine seeing the Scottish youngster eventually finish the day second fastest, just over a tenth of a second off the fastest time.
Force Motorsport Managing Director Jamie Dye commented: “A few months ago we first met Ross during a fortec driver development program assessment, straight away we thought hang on this kid has got something! Ross clearly Stood out and we could not wait to see him in a car. Ross did a great job testing in Valencia and got straight on the pace.
“I’m very excited about Ross for the future and hope to play a large roll incoming seasons toward his success.”
Speaking after the test Super FKS Champion Ross Martin said: “It was a real privilege to test with Fortec, they have a tremendous history.
