Reigning Portuguese ROK Cup Champion Boedler joins FKS with William Powell

London – March 30th – Cameron Boedler elated to join the William Powell Racing FKS Junior line-up

Brazilian born 13 year old Cameron Boedler is the latest driver to join the William Powell Racing team having already created a buzz in the UK karting paddocks. Racing with MLC Motorsport, Cameron shocked regular competitors at PF International with a convincing pole-position and podium on his debut Junior X30 race despite having never raced at the venue before.
Away from the Brazilian tracks since August 2013 Cameron came to the UK to develop as a driver and prepare for international racing. As last year’s ROK Cup Champion in Portugal and the Bridgestone Cup 2013 Champion, Cameron has shown immense talent on the track.

Cameron comments: ” I am very proud to be with William Powell Racing in Formula Kart Stars. The championship is very exciting and it is the right step for my career. It has everything that a driver prays for. I know I will learn a lot on the track and off the track. I want to be a complete driver and FKS gives me the change to get this experience.”

Anthony Marcano, supporting William Powell Racing driver programme, commented: “Cameron is the ‘complete package’. He is talented on the track and charismatic off the track and felt the opportunity to get him onboard with the William Powell brand within the FKS structure was too good to miss.”

Cameron joins Dean MacDonald in the FKS Junior category within William Powell Racing, a modern driver-career focused team supporting talented and driven young people in their pursuit of professional racing careers.
