Louise Goodman to train FKS drivers in preparation for Championship TV coverage

ITV4 presenter meeting drivers over the 9th/10th April

Formula Kart Stars is delighted to announce that leading Motor Sports media trainer and ITV4 Motorsport presenter Louise Goodman will be providing all FKS drivers with a workshop designed to help improve the drivers’ understanding of the media.

The workshop will take place at the Championship initiation day in April and provide FKS drivers with tips on what makes a good interview and how to present themselves professionally in front of the camera.

Commenting on the announcement Louise Goodman says: “I’ve worked with a whole range of drivers over the years from young up and coming karters to established Formula One stars.  Being a top racing driver these days isn’t just about being quick on the track.  The way that you present yourself to the media, to fans around the paddock and to sponsors and potential sponsors becomes more and more important the higher you get up the ladder but it’s never too early to start learning those skills”.

Carolynn Hoy, FKS Chairman commented: “We will shortly be announcing our TV deal which is set to take karting to a new level on our TV screens, providing our competitors with unrivaled coverage for them and their sponsors. As a result it will be more important than ever that they are ready to take advantage of this unique opportunity.”

The initiation day will take place over the 9th/10th April at Whilton Mill Circuit, Daventry with Rounds 1&2 commencing on the 1st – 3rd May.
