Former CIK FIA Academy Trophy driver Ross Martin joins FKS for 2015

London – March 11th – Scottish Karting star to return to Formula One Management backed series for 2015

Formula Kart Stars is delighted to announce that 15 year old Ross Martin will be returning to competition with FKS in this season’s Junior category, having previously raced in the Cadet class in 2012.

Ross has enjoyed immense success over the past two years, culminating in being selected by the MSA (Motor Sport Association) to represent the UK in the CIK-FIA Academy Trophy last year.

Ross Martin commented: “I am delighted to be able to compete in FKS once again. The new format is extremely appealing as it provides me with an opportunity to show my ability in front of the right people to progress my career. I cannot wait to get going and compete against some of the top drivers in the country once again.”

FKS Chairman Carolynn Hoy added: “It is great to have Ross and his family back in the FKS paddock. Ross showed great potential when he raced with us in 2012, and I am sure he will impress again in front of our supporters from Formula 1.”

Formula Kart Stars Official Launch and Test Day will take place over the 9th/10th April at Whilton Mill Circuit, Daventry with Rounds 1&2 commencing on the 1st – 3rd May.
