A brief introduction to the 6 circuits visited by Formula Kart Stars Championship during the 2012 season.

Kimbolton, England

Hunts Kart Racing Club provides a professional race meeting to include a safe and competitive race package that all competitors will enjoy and want to return to race throughout the season. 2011 proved that this was the case with many new Competitors seen around the paddock throughout the year

The Club continues to attract  strong membership numbers which is a good indication on the strength of Hunts Kart Racing Club. The Club fully appreciates the support that is given by the competitors attending each race meeting.

During 2011 there were many improvements to the HKRC paddock/grid / parc ferme and many other facilities showing that there is continual investment in improving facilities for everyone, During 2012 there are many plans to continue with these improvements.

The club endeavours to listen to all club members’ feedback and improve where we are able.

The HKRC Committee work for the Club Members.

The resurfaced track in 2008 with CIK approved design is still considered as one of the smoothest track circuits in the UK providing excellent overtaking opportunities. HKRC has a choice of two circuit layouts which will be in use on nominated months throughout the 2012 race season.

Championship meetings for 2012 will be contested over 11 rounds with 10 points scoring rounds to count. The Anglian Trophy meeting to be held over the weekend of 8th/9th/10th June will be a double Club Championship round.  Plenty of track action along with the established International  Spellfame trolley Championship. A great weekend for all the Family

HKRC welcomes the return of Formula Kart Stars after their last visit to Kimbolton in 2009.  We are very pleased to be hosting the first round of the 2012 FKS Championship.

The third of our three day meetings for 2012 will be the MAXXIS TKM FESTIVAL. Which will be the second year that HKRC has hosted the unique race weekend in partnership with TALKO and the  professional organisation by HKRC Officials.

For 2012 the race weekend established format will be to run to time plus one lap ensuring plenty of track time and continued value for money.

The winter months from October 2012 to March 2013 the race weekends start at 09.30am with a race format of 2 heats per class and a final. From April 2012 to September 2012 the race weekends will start at 10am with a race format of 3 heats and a final.

Enjoy the atmosphere of a professional, friendly Club that works hard to provide Competitors and Spectators with an exciting and enjoyable weekends racing.

Whilton Mill, England

Located within the heart of the Shires, Whilton Mill was established in 1991 and is a treasure trove of events and activities.

Surrounded by beautiful Northamptonshire countryside the 16th Century Mill House offers a great choice for corporate and social events.

Our Mill is complete with water wheel and from our upstairs Mill Bar you’ll have plenty to talk about as you enjoy our relaxed environment after your exhausting day of activities.

Locally sourced, freshly cooked home-style food with something for everyone. Unlike a hotel or conference centre the understated social atmosphere of the Mill means that you really can relax with your team and not feel uncomfortable about being dressed in your activity clothing.

Motorsport of any kind contributes to CO2 emissions, so we have invested in a 50kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system on the roof of our scrutineering building. The Carbon Trust calculates that this will offset as much as 23 Tonnes of emitted CO2 annually, (the same as taking 5 family cars off the road) as well as providing most of our on-site power requirements.
