Ginetta Junior and Protyre Formula Renault BARC team Hillspeed has announced that the 12 FKS drivers, who have won the chance to compete in an exclusive scholarship, will complete the assessment at Anglesey Circuit on the 1st November.
The 12 drivers will take part in an assessment programme which will include on track work in the team’s Ginetta Junior cars in an attempt to win a subsidised entry into either the 2013 Protyre Formula Renault BARC or 2013 Ginetta Junior Championship.
Speaking earlier this year following the announcement of the award, team principal Richard Ollerenshaw commented:
“Hillspeed is very excited about the partnership with FKS and the opportunity to work with drivers seeking a long term future in Motorsport. It is clearly apparent that FKS is a vital proving ground and stepping stone for aspiring karters. We want to become involved and offer them the chance to sample entry-level car racing within the professional environment that Hillspeed provides.”
Hillspeed is also offering all FKS drivers the opportunity to test the team’s Protyre Formula Renault BARC & Ginetta Junior cars at Anglesey on October the 30th & 31st. The sessions can be split into either full or half day and are open to all drivers irrespective of licence grades.
