Trent Valley KC Club Championship

Well what can we say another amazing drive from Dean Macdonald.  He certainly showed why he is the British Comer Cadet Champion 2012.

Dean was racing at the WTP – The Little Green Man Championship for the last time.  His aim was to finish his cadet career on a high.  Dean’s first heat was not quite what he had hoped for by finishing 3rd.  Rest assure that would not dis-hearten the pint size scot.  True to form Dean completed his 2nd & 3rd heat in first place.  With his results this put him on pole for the final.

In true Macdonald style he lead the race from start to finish only losing out on one corner but gaining the position right back on the next.  Within the final Dean managed to create a new lap record.

Dean’s trophy win included his 1st place position, fastest lap & Pole position.  Dean was ecstatic to complete his cadet years on a high & would like to send a special thank you to JM Racing for all their hard work & support.

Dean has proved on numerous occasions now, no matter what you put him in or throw at him he gives it his all & is definitely a star in the making with the right support behind him.

Dean would love to do KF3 next year but it will all depend on what support he can arrange.  We are sure his parents will do their upmost to take him as far as they can.  Dean is a very balanced & down to earth young man who understands fully that to get further in karting it takes a lot of hard work & financial backing.  He hasn’t had everything handed on a plate to him & he has showed he truly has worked hard to get where he is today.

Good luck Dean for 2013.  We are sure we will hear of you in the future.
